How to install Windows 8 on your Mac using Bootcamp

1. Make sure your computer meets Windows 8 System Requirements. This is not going to be a problem for newer computers.
If you want to run Windows 8 on your PC, here’s what it takes:
  • Processor: 1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster with support for PAE, NX, and SSE2 
  • RAM: 1 gigabyte (GB) (32-bit) or 2 GB (64-bit)
  • Hard disk space: 16 GB (32-bit) or 20 GB (64-bit)
  • Graphics card: Microsoft DirectX 9 graphics device with WDDM driver

2. Buy or Download Windows 8

Buy a Windows 8 Operating System here or Download Windows 8 by clicking here -> Download Windows 8 Professional full version, only 64-bit Windows 8 and Windows 8 Pro editions are compatible with OS X and that Enterprise versions are unsupported.

3. Create New Hard Drive partition.

Use only Boot Camp assistant to create and configure the required Windows partition. Third-party partition and disk utilities should not be used. Just Launch the Boot camp assistant and select the size of the new partition you want  to make. Note that minimum requirement space for installing Windows 8 needs 16 GB

4. Installing Windows 8

Windows 8 must be installed on the system’s internal disk. Using Boot Camp, Apple does not support installing Windows 8 to an external disk.
Use the Bootcamp, select the option “Start Windows Installer,” and then insert your Windows 8 disc. Just follow the installation Wizard and complete the steps.
Note : Make sure that you are selecting the correct partition to install Windows 8. Choosing Wrong partition will lead to erase all the data in the particular partition

5. Experience Windows 8

Windows 8 will load automatically after your system reboots. Customize your new Windows 8 and enter into the new modern start screen with metro tiles.
